2008 NPGA EXPO EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS
The National Propane Gas Association is pleased to report the 2008 Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo was held as scheduled despite the tornado that damaged downtown Atlanta less than two weeks before the show. Several thousand participants gathered at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia to attend the propane industry’s largest tradeshow and convention on March 29 -31, 2008.
Although the event was relocated to an undamaged section of the convention center, the core program was successfully transitioned with minimal disruption. The Welcome Reception on Saturday, March 29 brought attendees and exhibitors together to officially kick-off the event. The next morning, PERC provided an annual update followed by a cutting-edge keynote address focusing on customer service. Over twenty educational sessions were presented throughout the convention to provide the industry’s most extensive array of educational opportunities.
The Exhibit Hall officially opened on Sunday, March 30 and featured over 200 exhibiting companies. The Exhibit Hall continues to be the main feature of the Southeastern Convention & International Propane Expo where participants flock to preview the newest product innovations and meet face-to-face with the industry’s leading suppliers.
